12 May Update

Tae's days now seem to split the good and bad - slow painful mornings, long sleeps, better evenings. Yesterday after a long morning where she was quite miserable from the pain, she fell into a long sleep. By evening she was up in the wheelchair wanting to go for a ride. We pushed her into town for an ice cream with Sina, Aioema, Etuina, Lilio and a band of kids & kuzzins before turning in at the video shop to pick some movies. She started to feel her back by then and insisted on a quick return home.

Tae's childhood friend, Kallan is doing a fundraising in New York to raise funds for Tae's wish for a resource room (a room, books, dvds, furniture, computers, comfortable furniture) for kids with cancer in Tonga as part of a facility by the Child Cancer Society here.  The band PushPlay will be holding a special fundraising concert and Kallan is keen on prizes that can be raffled at the fundraiser. The Picture shows Adrie, Kallan and Tae in FIji earlier in the year.   

Today a special friend, Mark Hobson, arrived from Los Angeles to spend 4 days with us. Good to see Mark in town and get some news on Heather and the boys.  We were also visited by family and friends from the Gospel Church this evening. Again, Tae insisted in being wheeled out and singing with her guitar and sharing a couple of songs with sister Mia.

Tae Ive been wearing my bandana for teen cancer from NZ...I have a blue one and a black and red one....my nephew gave the blue one to me in Dec 2006 and I wear it a lot...I think of you now each time I put it on...its quite funky and fun...Sina & Taholo and girls you are all in my thoughts and prayers...lolomas from Fiji

hi Tae...
I've been getting updates from Ena on how u've been..txts,emails,bebo comments every now and then...and reading the plots on the websites jst even makes things much clearer.
Prayers and thoughts are always with you Tae,the whole famili and everyone else who have come to know you and whom you've touched their lives one way or another.God sure does work in mysterious ways we his children don't know of.We just have to trust him completely with the all the faith we have.
We love you Tae and continuosly praying for you always!...
